British-African Scholar Robert Beckford explores the question “Who Wrote the Bible?” in a series of Videos produced by the BBC, which are (hallelujah!) available on YouTube.

I just watched 7 short parts of this BBC series, this was really facinating, I could not just watch one. For anyone interested each part is about 8 minutes long. It was excellent viewing, both the visual as it takes you to the Holy Land, and the scholarship. Many thanks for suggesting this link.

Who Wrote the Bible? I’ve only completed Episode 3 and I’m hooked! What a great series for the inquisitive mind, particularly for those of us who are not fundamentalist in our approach to reading these wonderful inegmatic texts! Thanks, Elizabeth. I will continue my journey.
