Details: Rev. Elisabeth Jones is Minister of Word, Sacrament and Pastoral Care at Cedar Park United Church, Pointe Claire Quebec. She was Director of Studies and Field Education at UTC from 2004-2011, and before that taught Church History and Pastoral Studies at the Vancouver School of Theology.

Rev. Elisabeth Jones has just begun her ministry with the Congregation of Cedar Park United Church in Pointe Claire, Quebec, returning to congregational ministry after fourteen years of teaching ministry at Vancouver School of Theology and the United Theological College. Fascinated (some would say obsessed) with the roles that Scripture can play in the life of communities of faith, Elisabeth has spent a good deal of her ministry exploring ways to help make the Bible more accessible to people who want to take it seriously, but who draw the line at taking it literally.
